We will again use the number line two identify the pattern and find the missing number. This again resembles skip counting by 4 starting from zero and multiplication table of 4.Hence by jumping two units to the right starting from 10 we get the answer 12.We will use the number line to get the answer.By understand one concept we can have a thorough understanding of all the related concepts. So we can say that all these concepts are interlinked with one another. This also resembles the multiplication table of two. This is also an example of skip counting by 2 starting from zero. When we observe this group we realize that starting from zero we get the next number by jumping two units. We will begin with some basic examples that will help us identify and predict the missing numbers. These patterns make it easier for students to understand multiplication and addition. This skill will be helpful for them throughout this course. Children will learn to observe sequences and will be able to predict what comes next.Children will be able to learn the relationships that exist between numbers.Learning number patterns helps build a strong foundation in mathematics and will help in working with numbers.Hence we can identify a pattern in skip counting as well. Similarly when we skip count by 3s, 4s and 5s we jump by intervals of 3, 4 and 5. When skip counting by 2 we jump by an interval of two. Skip counting also follows a certain number pattern. Once we know how to identify these patterns, calculations become easier. The more you practice with numbers, the more easier it is to identify the hidden pattern they follow.Identifying these patterns is important and this comes with practice. When we start dealing with number groups we begin to notice that most of them have a pattern or a sequence.
